We did manage to have a Manhatten - we'd been walking in Central Park and came across the Boathouse so stopped for lunch (and an afternoon drink). Neither one of us liked it!! It is made from 75ml Southern Comfort, 25ml Rosso Vermouth, a dash of Angostura Bitters and is served over crushed ice with a glacier cherry!
We arrived in Niagara Falls on the Canadian side mid afternoon (after going through customs whilst still on the train!) That night we walked down to see them and they were all lit up.
On Sunday, we went on the Maid of the Mist tour, wearing our lovely blue rain macs! The view from the boat is amazing and we only got a little wet! A group of Koreans asked if they could have a photo taken with us so we agreed! We then walked up to the Whirlpools.
That night we went back to the falls to see them lit up again and there was a firework show over them which was quite a big event!
We're getting the 10:30 train tomorrow morning to take us to Las Vegas (eventually)!
